The Arlington County Circuit Court Clerk's Office's Secure Remote Access for Land Records (SRA) offers customers the option to search certain electronic land records online. You can subscribe to the SRA by submitting an original signed and notarized Subscriber Application and Subscriber Agreement with a subscription payment of $50 per month. The Court accepts payments by credit card or check. Subscriptions paid by credit card will be paid automatically on a monthly basis until you cancel your subscription. Subscriptions paid by check may only be paid in one-year increments.
All SRA users must comply with all laws governing secure remote access to land records, including, but not limited to, the requirements set forth in Code of Virginia §17.1-294(D). The Clerk’s Office reserves the right to require such information, as necessary, to determine whether a potential user’s use of the online records site will comply with all applicable laws and to deny access to applicants who don’t adequately demonstrate an intended use that complies with such laws.
You can search certain land records, including recorded documents relating to judgments, financing statements and wills, at the online records site without a paid subscription — just register and select “Arlington Free Access”. However, as a subscriber of “Arlington Free Access”, you won’t have access to view any document images.
Please print and submit only complete and original documents on letter-size paper. If any corrections are made, they must be initialled by both the individual who signed the application and the notary.
1. Subscriber Application - Each individual user must complete an Application. The Application must be signed, notarized and the original delivered or mailed to the Arlington County Circuit Court. Payment may be submitted along with the application in the form of a check or entered online in a form of a credit card after the account has been approved by Arlington County Circuit Court and activated by the user via the activation link received by email after completing the online registration. Please note that payments made by check must be for one-year intervals. Any subscription intervals for less than one year must be paid by credit card. Credit card payments will be charged automatically on a monthly basis until you cancel your subscription.
2. Subscriber Agreement - Terms and conditions for new customers (only required for the initial subscription). Each individual user must complete an Agreement. The Agreement must be signed, notarized and the original delivered or mailed to the Arlington County Circuit Court.
